Getting day started right w/ my morning coffee & some personal development…
Interesting read about the effect of fear on our lives. F.E.A.R. is False Evidence Appearing Real. It’s crazy to think when we give fear time & place in our lives we lose our emotional balance & mental character. Our creativity, ambition & behaviors shrink, we withdraw & life’s energy entropies. We become slaves to what we fear! Fear robs us of everything positive, everything good & everything worthy of our best effort. The reality is we become a slave to the very thing we fear.
We must DECIDE to give fear NO place in our lives & live with confidence & assurance that fear is just smoke & mirrors. I mean, if you think about it, you cannot get bit by the shadow of a barking dog. Fear must be controlled & our energy must be re-directed to focus on the positive. We must face our fears & do it anyway. At the end of the day, the ONLY way to conquer fear is to take ACTION.
Go take action & see your life transform as you minimize fear’s control over you…

Commitment to continuity develops emotional stability.
I learned this from someone I have tremendous respect for. Someone who has achieved what I would consider to be true success: great relationships, fulfilling his purpose, financial security for his family &, most importantly, having a strong spiritual foundation…
We all have experienced times of our lives where we might be stressed out, feeling erratic & unfocused in our lives. We’re just not “firing on all cylinders” & cannot seem to gain traction as we might like. The KEY to grounding ourselves & developing that inner confidence, that emotional stability, that true productive & effective place in our lives, is to maintain a consistent, persistent & disciplined work ethic centered around our core belief of what is right, true & draws on our emotions. In other words, we work hard & keep our dreams & goals in front of us. When we don’t maintain consistency, we begin to question our motives & beliefs of what we are doing & why we are doing it. First step: figure out what you WANT & WHY you want it. Step two is to believe you will attain it & get to work !!!
Champions are not made in the ring, they are merely recognized there…
So many people see successful people & think “boy, he is lucky,” or “wow, she always seems to have everything working out her way.” The stark reality is that we rarely see the struggles, the trials, the seemingly insurmountable obstacles a successful person has to overcome to reach their goal.
ALWAYS, know WHAT you want & WHY you want it. Then, be sure to stay focused on the PRIZE and NOT the price !!!

What I am learning is that courage is NOT a feeling, it is a decision each of us has the ability to choose. You don’t feel courage, you DO courage.
You see, courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to act despite of how you are feeling. I do NOT believe we need to live a life of courage, I believe conclusively we only need to exercise seconds of courage EVERY day !!!
The secret to getting ahead is getting started.
SO true. I was a victim (& sometimes still am) of thinking too much. Getting ready to get ready. Analysis paralysis. Information constipation…yadayadayada…
I continually learn that the more we delay our actions, the less confident we feel, the more confused we get & the less clarity & focus we have. The key is to know WHAT you want & WHY you want it. Then, lay out a game plan of what it will take & start getting to work WITHOUT DELAY.
I’ve read Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill countless times & the one quote that sticks with me “successful people make decisions quickly & change them slowly; unsuccessful people make decisions slowly & change them often.” Make the decision, have a plan & GET TO WORK. You will be thankful you did.
